Dr Goel trained in London, at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical Schools. He has worked in both the UK and Australia, specialising in Gastroenterology. Dr Goel is currently working in the NHS at Kingston Hospital, where he holds the position of Consultant in Gastroenterology and is Clinical Lead for the Endoscopy and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Services.
With a wealth of experience and clinical knowledge, Dr Goel has carried out research into oral Crohn’s disease and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Goel has been widely published, with over 20 peer-reviewed articles. He has also been a sub-investigator in a novel Crohn’s disease treatment trial.
Dr Goel’s clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, wireless, video capsule endoscopy, orofacial granulomatosis.
