Mr Owen-Johnstone is a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon working in private practice at the London Bridge Hospital in central London.
He specialises in problems affecting the upper limb: shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands. His practice treats patients, often using the latest advances in keyhole surgery, with all problems arising from the fingertips to the collarbone including problems with joints, skin, bones, muscles, tendons and nerves.
Mr Owen-Johnstone qualified in Medicine from the University of Leicester before undertaking training at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. His higher surgical training in orthopaedics was carried out on the Barts and the London hospital rotation where he trained in hospitals such as the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He received a National Fellowship to the St Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery, Essex where he studied further.
