Mr Jonathon Lavelle qualified from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School in 1985. He trained in Orthopaedics on the West London training scheme including working at The Middlesex Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospitals. He has been a consultant at Chelsea & Westminster since 1996, developing his knee surgical practice there, as well as at The Wellington Hospital and The Lister Hospital.
Mr Lavelle has interests both in soft tissue surgery as well as joint replacement and revision surgery. He is involved in running a number of soft tissue knee surgery courses for trainees and consultants including for meniscal repair, ACL and PCL reconstructive surgery. He has a wide spectrum of patients from local professional football teams to being an honorary consultant to the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
