Dr Narbeh Melikian
Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Cardiology, King's College Hospital and King's College London School of Medicine
Dr Narbeh Melikian is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist specialising in all aspects of general and interventional cardiology including coronary angiography, angioplasty, stenting, as well as the treatment of valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension and atrial fibrillation.
Dr Melikian qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School. He undertook further training at Hammersmith, Royal Brompton and King’s College Hospitals in London and then a two year Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Aalst Cardiovascular Centre in Belgium. He was appointed as Clinical Lecturer in Cardiology at King’s College School of Medicine in 2008 prior to taking up his current post as Consultant Cardiologist at King’s College Hospital in 2010.
Dr Melikian is actively involved in cardiac research and has received numerous awards and scholarships including the prestigious British Cardiac Society John Parker Fellowship (2005-2007) and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Golding Bird and Treasures Medals.
