Dr Mark Mason, Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Mark Mason is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in coronary intervention. He qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, before undertaking his Cardiology training with the London Deanery. He has been a Consultant Cardiologist since 2001.
Dr Mason was instrumental in developing the primary angioplasty programme at Harefield Hospital and he is a key member of one of the busiest pacing services in the UK, delivering a complete range of pacing implantation and extraction techniques. Dr Mason is internationally recognised as an expert in pacing lead extraction. He is actively involved in teaching and training and lectures regularly at specialist meetings both in the UK and internationally.
