Dr Moniz is a senior Clinical Biochemist. He was previously Head of the Clinical Biochemistry laboratory at King's College Hospital NHS Trust and Clinical Lead for Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone diseases. He has published widely in the area of bone health and disease and is recognised internationally as a leading expert in this therapeutic area.
Consultant Pathologist he manages the Biochemical Bone Marker services. He also works in clinical collaboration with the specialised osteoporosis team in assessing bone health.
Personal treatment philosophy:
"As a clinical and a laboratory specialist my aims are to promote bone health through individualised diagnosis and treatment of bone disorders such as osteoporosis and to guide and support both patients and their specialist doctors in appropriate targeted diagnosis and treatments so as to maximise overall bone health."
Update: Caje has now retired from his laboratory and clinical work, but is keeping fine and busy with his art and exhibitions.
