Mr Stephen Jones is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and he also practices at the Nuffield Health Cardiff and vales Hospitals. He is a senior Lecturer in Orthopaedics at Cardiff University. He specialises in problems of the hip.
Mr Jones qualified from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine, Cardiff and completed his orthopaedic and trauma training on the All Wales Higher Training Programme. He undertook a number of fellowships in the UK, Europe and North America to complete his specialist training.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an active member of the British Hip Society. In addition to his surgical qualifications he has an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering and is closely involved with hip implant development and evaluation.
