Mr Leye Ajayi is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in the treatment of bladder and prostate cancer using minimally invasive techniques and was awarded a Medical Doctorate for his research into prostate cancer in 2006. Mr Ajayi regularly performs blue light endoscopic resections and green light laser prostatectomy.
Mr Ajayi treats patients at the Royal Free and the Wellington hospitals as well as the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, London. Mr Ajayi has membership of the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the European Urological Association and has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Urology).
Mr Ajayi graduated with a medicine degree from King’s College London before completing higher surgical training on the South Thames rotation and Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital, London. He was awarded a Fellowship in Endourology from Brisbane, Australia and he has subsequently sub-specialised in the management of urinary stone disease and he has a clinical interest in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and andrology.
