Miss Samantha Tross consults at the Ealing Hospital NHS Trust and The Wellington Hospital, London.
Samantha Tross is one of only a few female Orthopaedic Surgeons practising in England. She graduated from University College London in 1992. Her surgical training was obtained at a number of London Teaching hospitals including St George's Hospital, The Royal London and Guys & St Thomas's. She also received Fellowship training overseas at world renowned centres in Toronto, Canada and Sydney, Australia, gaining further experience in Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement, Computer assisted Arthroplasty, Hip Resurfacing and Knee arthroscopy. More recently she has trained in Hip Arthroscopy, also known as keyhole surgery of the hip.
Miss Tross is also actively involved in teaching and is currently an Examiner for medical school finals for Imperial College London. She is also involved in running Basic Surgical Skills Courses in Africa in conjunction with the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
Miss Tross is a Member of the British Hip Society and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Case Reports.
