Q: What are the benefits of kidney tumour ablation?

Answer:

Patients will only have to spend a single night in hospital. The treatment is minimally invasive and well tolerated. Ablation neither removes the kidney nor destroys it’s functioning. It may be particularly suitable for older patients, and others for whom full-scale surgery would present a considerable risk.
