Miss Christine Robinson is a Consultant Community Gynaecologist for The Lister Hospital, London. She was responsible for establishing one of the first medical Gynaecology units in the UK which, in 1998, won a 'Charter Mark' for quality. Miss Robinson is interested in quality of care and clinical governance, for which she has held both regional and national posts.
Miss Robinson specialises in contraception, medical gynaecology (including menopause and HRT) and well woman screening, topics on which she has published numerous articles and taught extensively both for undergraduates and postgraduates.
Miss Robinson qualified in 1982 from Cambridge University and went on to complete further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Sexual and Reproductive Health in London and Cambridge. She has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as Fellowship of the Faculty Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. From 2008–2011 Miss Robinson was president of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Council.
