Dr Philip Kell is a Consultant Physician presently employed in the NHS at Torbay Hospital, South Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. He consults privately at the St Peter's Andrology Centre, 145 Harley Street, London and The Nuffield Hospital Plymouth. He specialises in sexual medicine including sexually transmitted infections, sexual problems in men and women, and pelvic pain.
Dr Kell has previously been Chair of the National Training Committee for Genito-Urinary Medicine, Chairman of the British Association of Sexual Health's Special Interest Group in Sexual Dysfunction and Treasurer of the British Society for Sexual Medicine. Alongside his hospital work, Dr Kell has taught on many courses and written numerous publications and has co-authored the national guidelines for the management of erectile dysfunction and testosterone replacement in both men and women.
Following graduation in 1979 from the University of Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine/Science degree Dr Kell came to the UK. In 1984 he complete postgraduate training in obstetrics, gynaecology and genito-urinary medicine. He has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the Australasian College of Sexual Health Physicians.
